What this is
The EventGator Partner Program pays you for referring event organizers to EventGator. It is free to join.
By applying or taking part, you agree to these terms.
What you earn
You earn 20% of EventGator's net revenue from each organizer you refer, for 24 months starting from that organizer's first paid ticket sale.
Your rate and term are set on your partner account. The default is 20% and 24 months. Any custom deal we agree with you in writing replaces the default.
What counts as net revenue
Our ticket fees (2.5% + $0.79 per paid ticket) after refunds, plus Pro and Pro+ plan payments we actually collect.
Card processing is passed through at cost and never counts. Free tickets earn nothing. Refunds reduce or cancel the matching commission, including commission already paid, which comes off your next payout.
Who counts as your referral
An organizer who creates a new organization after arriving through your link, entering your partner code, or being registered by you as a lead.
A lead claim lasts 90 days. If that organizer signs up and creates an organization during the claim, they are yours.
The first valid claim wins. We never move an organizer from one partner to another.
Who does not count
Organizations you own or are crew on. No self-referrals.
Organizers already on EventGator, or already claimed by another partner.
When you get paid
Commission from an event becomes payable 30 days after the event ends. Plan commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment.
We pay monthly once your payable balance is $50 or more, by PayPal or Wise.
Taxes
You are an independent contractor, not an employee. You handle your own taxes.
Before your first payout we send you a tax form: a W-9 if you are in the US, a W-8BEN for everyone else. We never collect tax ID numbers, Social Security numbers or bank account numbers in the app.
How you promote EventGator
Say you earn a commission whenever you promote EventGator.
No spam. No bidding on "EventGator" or close variations in paid search ads.
Never claim to be EventGator staff or speak for EventGator.
Ending the partnership
It is non-exclusive. Either side can end it anytime.
If it ends, commission on organizers you already referred keeps paying through the rest of their 24 months, unless you broke these rules. If you broke the rules, unpaid commission is cancelled.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top of this page and tell active partners before changes take effect.
